Radon Mitigation Photo Album: Basement & Crawl Space Mitigation in Boise, ID

Idaho Radon was contracted to mitigate elevated radon levels at this commercial property on the market in Boise. Radon concentrations in the basement ranged from 15 to 20 pCi/L.   To address the issue, a suction point was established in the basement mechanical room, with the piping routed through the crawl space and exiting at the north end of the building. Given the high foot and vehicle traffic along this side, the fan was strategically positioned in a corner location to minimize visual impact. A durable 12-mil vapor barrier was installed in the 850-square-foot crawl space to enhance mitigation effectiveness.     The project was successfully completed by a two-person team within 1.5 days.
