Radon Mitigation Photo Album: Sub Slab & Crawlspace Mitigation in Boise, ID

The client contacted us after conducting a short-term charcoal radon test, which indicated an average radon level exceeding 4.0 pCi/L. During the initial assessment of the home, we estimated that a single fan system might be sufficient to mitigate the issue. However, after reviewing the house plans provided by the homeowner, we determined that two sub-slab systems would be necessary due to a load-bearing footing dividing the basement.   The crawl space, measuring less than 500 square feet, required encapsulation and was able to be integrated with one of the sub-slab suction points. As a result, the final system design included two fans operating across three suction points.   The installation was completed in a single day by a three-person team, beginning at 8:30 AM and finishing at 4:15 PM. The client was highly satisfied with the system, particularly appreciating the low-noise fans, the minimal visual impact, and the cost-effectiveness of the solution.
